CLARK COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People believes that an outside investigation by the Department of Justice should be done in the case of Jonathan Sanders.
Sanders is the man who died in a fight with a police officer in Stonewall.
The Mississippi State Conference NAACP and Clark County NAACP are disappointed that a Clark County grand jury didn’t indict an officer in the choking death of Sanders.
The Mississippi State Conference NAACP will meet with Sanders’ family and attorneys to review case evidence.
