JACKSON, Miss. (WHLT) — Gov. Phil Bryant has issued an executive order for all state flags to be lowered at half-staff in honor of those lost in the Paris terror attacks.
The proclamation says that all state flags on all buildings and grounds of the State of Mississippi should be lowered until sunset on Thursday, Nov. 19.
On Friday, more than 120 people were killed after several attacks in France’s capitol city.
On Sunday, President Barack Obama ordered that all U.S. flags be flown at half-staff until sunset on Thursday.
