Railroad worker dies in Petal

PETAL, Miss. (WHLT)- A railroad worker has died in Petal.

Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict said  20-year-old Gregory Miller’s body has been taken to Jackson for an autopsy.

The coroner said Miller, who is from Waynesboro, was connecting cars and got stuck between them when they came together.

The incident happened Wednesday night along Highway 11 around 11 p.m.

Miller was an employee at Norfolk Southern Railway.
