MS Dept. of Public Safety: All MS Driver’s license stations to close due to training and upgrades starting July 22, 2015

JACKSON, MS – Warren Strain with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety says all driver’s license stations in the state of Mississippi will be closed on a regional basis starting tomorrow.

An official release says the closures are due to “changes to state driver’s licenses laws and required training on upgrades to the driver’s license system.”

The release also says “all offices in the central region will close July 22nd including MHP Districts 1, 5 and 6. All offices in the northern region will close August 12th including MHP Districts 2, 3 and 4. All offices in the southern region will close August 19th including MHP Districts 7, 8 and 9.

It is not known how long they will be closed at this time.
