GoFundMe created for officer injured in Chattanooga shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Go Fund Me account is raising funds for the Chattanooga officer injured in the July 16 shooting that killed five servicemen.

Chattanooga PD Master Patrolman Dennis Pedigo was injured while responding to the active shooter call at the complex for the Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps. Reserve Center on Amincola Highway.

Pedigo was shot in the ankle and dragged to safety by his fellow officers, according to the police chief.

The page is seeking to raise $20,000 for his treatment and recovery. Click here to donate to the fundraiser. 

As of Tuesday morning, $10,050 has been donated.
